Sherif was removed from the show after an incident involving Molly-Mae
Love Island‘s Molly-Mae has said she has no problem with Sherif following his removal from the show for breaking villa rules.
Sherif’s shock exit happened back in June after ITV2 announced that he and producers mutually agreed it was for the best after breaking unspecified rules.
The 20-year-old Londoner later said he left after he accidentally kicked Molly-Mae in the groin area while they were play fighting, before turning to Tommy and saying “that was a c*** punt”.
Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, Molly-Mae said: “Is there any beef with me and Sherif?
“No absolutely not. No beef with me and Sherif. I’ve not got my phone back yet, I’ve not even spoken to Sherif but there’s absolutely no beef between me and Sherif. Love the boy to pieces.”
Sherif released the following statement after he left the show: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa. I regret that I didn’t conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20-year-old guy, it’s something I know I will take on board and learn from. I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside.”
ITV added to Cosmopolitan UK: “Sherif fully accepted and agreed that he broke the rules and that he should leave. We have a duty of care towards all of the Islanders and as such we would not make public the details of the breach of code.
“Sherif has never ‘signed a confession’ or been asked to do so. To his credit he readily accepted that his behaviour broke the rules and that he should therefore leave.

“We take any instance of inappropriate behaviour very seriously and we speak to all of the islanders to remind them of what we condone to be acceptable behaviour during their time on the show.”
Meanwhile during last night’s final, Molly-Mae and Tommy came second, behind winners Amber and Greg.
Ovie and India came third, while Maura and Curtis came fourth.
